Abstract:
Robert Morris, born in Alabama 1921 and raised in Denville, NJ. Graduated Mt. Lakes HS, Attended Georgetown University and a Graduate of several Military Courses.He served in the US Maritime & US Army Transportation Corp during WW2 (France & Germany (1944/46) and again in Korea (1951/52) Married to Frances Williams They raised two boys and two girls. After WW2 Robert and Frances worked at the Naval Research Lab. Washington, DC. Called back to military duty in 1951 Captain Morris served in Korea until released from active duty in 1952. The family moved to Commack, LI, NY where they remained for some thirty years. He worked for several scientific equipment firms until forming his own manufactures Rep Company. Retiring in1985 and moving to Myrtle Beach, SC. Both Robert & Frances remain very active as volunteers with the Assoc. for Retarded Citizens.
