The author is an attorney with diverse litigation experience, including the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office, partnership in a large law firm, as in-house counsel for a large corporation, and including the City of Philadelphia’s Law Department (where he served as First Deputy City Solicitor for six years.) He also taught various courses at the Temple University School of Law for five years, during which time his scholarship was published in the Baylor Law Review. He graduated with High Honors in Political Science from Swarthmore College. While obtaining his law degree at the University of Chicago, he was a member of the Board of Editors for the University of Chicago Law Review. A citizen of Philadelphia since 1968, he is the father of four and the grandfather of three.
