Harry M. Bobonich earned a bachelor’s degree from Susquehanna University, a master’s degree from Bucknell University and a Ph.D. degree in chemistry from Syracuse University. He has taught at The Pennsylvania State University, Shippensburg University and Wilson College. Bobonich retired from Shippensburg University as Dean of the School of Graduate Studies and Research. He has authored a number of articles on the history of the Coal Region in Pennsylvania. This is the fourth book. He and his wife, Gloria, have two sons, Chris and Greg.
