Mabel Quartz is a native of Pennsylvania. She holds a B.S. in Animal Production, and currently works in the thoroughbred horse breeding industry. She enjoys family life, old houses, gardening, and all creatures great and small – except for bats who invite themselves over to Sunday tea with her grandmother! Mabel holds a diploma in Special Publishing from the Institute of Children’s Literature in West Redding, Connecticut, as well as a Literacy Tutor Certificate from the Chester County Library in Pennsylvania.
