The author’s professional experience includes the following; Thirteen years as an Army Warrant Officer / attack helicopter pilot including a course in aerospace safety management at the University of California, as well as a tour of duty in the Republic of Viet Nam. Nine years as a commercial helicopter pilot, working for Shell Oil Corporation. I have twenty years of experience in the investment / banking industry, both as an assistant vice-president involved with clearing listed options contracts, and as a technologist. I worked five years as a technologist / consultant involved with projects for three well-known multinational firms.
