Abstract:
This book is about my dreams of adventure, which began as a young boy and developed into a lifetime of experiences in aviation, with all of its related ramifications. It exposes a boy who struggled to gain an understanding of the complexities presented by life.

The road from youthful idealism and first loves to adulthood proved to be a significant challenge. This alone was enough, but add in the longing for and love of flying produces a recipe for many internal challenges and struggles that would lead inexorably to self-doubt and require great faith to overcome in order to achieve peace with it all.
