Lori Fowler is a tenured Associate Professor of Sociology who has studied the cosmetic surgery industry for almost a decade. She feels women everywhere have the right to change their bodies, yet hopes that young girls realize that changing the outside will never lead to fulfillment on the inside. Lori is the mother of two natural children and two step-children. She enjoys spending time with her family on their 4R Ranch near Aledo, Texas. She has published over 75 academic works, and teaches full-time at a community college where she commits to volunteer work and making a difference.
