Biography:
Jim Brewington has served as a staff interpreter at Saddleback College and Irvine Valley College in Orange County, California, for more than ten years. A graduate of the University of Iowa, he received his interpreter’s certificate from Saddleback College. He has interpreted in a variety of venues including churches, hospitals, courtrooms, U.S. presidential campaigns, and the Promise Keepers stadium events. Brewington, a former Navy officer, is now a full-time pastor, a sign language instructor, and the founder and president of Acts of God Disaster Relief, a national nonprofit organization. Jim and his wife, Debbie, live in San Juan Capistrano, California.
