Biography:
Anne Brooks Brauer is a living author in Fredericksburg, Virginia. She is an active member of the Mystery Writers of America. Her last two books, The Crazy 8 Murder and her newest book, ASH FLATS MURDER have been nominated for the Edgar award, the award in honor of Edgar Allan Poe, given by the Mystery Writers of America. Brauer has been in England several times, and on her last visit in 1999 she kept her journal for this novel. Anne Brooks Brauer stayed as a guest with an English couple, in their authentic Tudor cottage at Ash Flats, England-- This visit gave her a lot of insight on the English everyday life and speech patterns to use in her novel. Anne Brooks Brauer is a widow and lives just outside of Historic Fredericksburg, Virginia with her two English Springer Spaniels---Jack and Jill.
