WHAT WIDOW’S FACE is a true story of a vacation trip that went wrong. The author Anne Brooks Brauer and her husband John, were traveling on AMTRACK to Las Vegas, Nevada, when John suddenly said, “I can’t breathe.” Twenty minutes later, he lay dead in the baggage car of the train. Neither one of the Brauers was on medication and didn’t have an aspirin between them. This type of “sudden death” is difficult for any widow, anywhere. There are no good-byes -- just attempts to stop the inevitable. This little book has been selling out since first published.
