Abstract:
It was 1975 when JIM, a fisherman, moved to West Virginia and its woods and waters. While fishing Elk River he meets two anglers, BALL HAT and SHORTY who give him a token of friendship that kept them connected. JIM meets an old man, DELBERT, while fishing a river known for its muskellunge. Through DELBERT's short friendship and great wisdom, JIM learns to use his eyes and ears on the river while understanding nature's language. JIM's muskie fishing adventures takes him to other waters and widely known expert muskie fishermen in North America. These are the stories of those adventures.
