Can one man make a difference in inner city education?

Inner city education needs Dan Tabas. With almost sixty percent of entering ninth graders not graduating, with mayhem, crime, drugs, poverty, rudderless kids and two-way racism present on a day to day basis, and central administration exhibiting fifty years of status quo mentality, a courageous and entrepreneurial rogue steps up to change just about everything. Dan Tabas takes over as acting principal at the minimally functioning, East Philly High, and begins to reform almost every traditional educational strategy and decision making process, in an effort to fix the school.
