Abstract:
A Struggle for Life in the Mountain is a story about our forefathers who cleared the mountainous land around Bear Town Mountain and other primitive areas to make a living for their family; a saga of hardships they endured. It is a story of a mother with seven young children left on a farm as tenant farmers after the death of the father, and how two of the boys, ages fourteen and sixteen, continued the hard labor of farming to help their mother and family. It is a legend of two young children’s plot in life after the death of both parents.
