Abstract:
Kathryn and Billy Murphy are American twins, aged twelve, now living in Ballyrun, Ireland with their crotchety old grandfather. He, along with many locals from a quaint Irish town, paint a colorful picture of Irish myths and legends of the great Arthur’s Seat, a massive mountain in Ireland and the tales of the Otherworld that lies beyond it.

After some particularly strange faery sightings and receiving her mother’s favorite book as a gift, Kathryn figures out her grandmother’s necklace is the key to finding the Otherworld. Unfortunately for Kathryn, she's been grounded. It is then her adventurous side kicks in and she disobeys her Grandfather in search of the truth.
