Abstract:
The Best Cat is a book of drawings and poems about—guess who?—the best cat. The poems are okay, but the drawings are terrific. The drawings were made on the living-room floor at Brimnes, the late Bill Holm’s house at Hofsos in Iceland; some of the poems were also critiqued (and okayed!) by Bill, to whom the author and the artist owe a debt of unending gratitude, for these favors and many others over past years.
