Abstract:
The Manual of Radiotelephony for Airline and other Pilots is designed to be a ready reference for pilots during flight. It details the communication techniques that pilots need to know while conducting a flight. First, the book lays out the pronunciation of both the alphabets and numerals used in aviation communication. Then in a simulated flight, the author provides various scenarios in which communication befitting particular situations and circumstances are used. A glossary of terms used in radiotelephony is given towards the end of the book and notes on Instrument Rating renewal examination rounds up the book.
