Abstract:
This book deals with the current problems of globalization, lean manufacture, free trade, global competition, and the decline of manufacturing through the eyes of business giants, such as Henry Ford, Adam Smith, Andrew Carnegie, J.P. Morgan, and others. The fictional interviews are based on their actual words and/or extensive research on their views. Many of the comments are based on their actual writing and business speeches, such as Henry Ford’s My Life and Work and Andrew Carnegie’s Gospel of Wealth, including actual correspondence in industrial archives. It is a very readable format that allows for insights into the problems of today.
