Abstract:
The adventures of a young orphan boy during the years of the Great Depression. At an early age he arrived in Bowling Green, Kentucky, and was taken in by the family of John and Susie Puckett who already had two children, teenagers at the time. He soon claimed the small town of Bowling Green as his own. The town and surrounding farm areas was just the place for a young boy and his friends to play. There were wooded areas and many caves that beckoned to be discovered by adventurous children. Butch and his friends roamed these places. Stories told by the author are humorous and heartwarming. Entertaining reading for those who like to know or reminisce about the good old days.
