Abstract:
These anecdotal stories unveil the inferno of human suffering of ten Mexican immigrant women who entered the U.S. illegally. Exposure about their harsh, daily survival will undoubtedly have an emotional impact on the reader and a deeper understanding of the spiral to insanity of some of them. These accounts will capture the attention of professionals with cultural sensitivity wanting to more thoroughly comprehend the effects of poverty, corrupt governments, and the lack of professional services in Third World countries and in the U.S. Their exposé is an indictment against bureaucratic indifference and the favored position of men within our society.
