Abstract:
Sports fans are familiar with most of the stories in this book. The author has turned them into parables telling about peoples’ relationship with God. Where Jesus told of the Unjust Judge, this book tells of the Unjust School Board. Where Jesus said the Kingdom of Heaven is like finding a hidden treasure, this book compares it to the joy of a hole-in-one. The church applied Jesus’ parables to our lives, and each page in this book presents a sports parable with a Christian meaning: to be accepted or rejected by readers in search of a closer relationship with God.
