Stance Rules for Normal Legs:
Knees are slightly bent, and not in a locked position.
The feet should not be farther apart than six inches.
The heel of the back foot turns slightly in toward the body so that both feet form a forty-five degree angle. The back knee should be bent, but the front knee should cover the inside line of the back knee. Place most of your weight on the back leg.

Don’t allow the stole to hang loosely over the bust line.


Don’t allow the stole to look uncontrolled. Pin it, place it, and keep it where you want it.


SKIN CARE

No cosmetic in the world can take the place of a healthy, glowing complexion. To insure the beauty of your completion, you must;
Eat a balanced diet.
Have regular elimination.
Drink plenty of water.
Get enough fresh air.
Get eight hours of sleep each night.
Exercise daily.
Avoid frowning and squinting.

Two important facets are harmony of color and harmony of line. Before you start creating the illusion of beauty with make-up, you need to ask yourself two questions;


What colors should I choose for my make-up to emphasize the best in my hair, eye and skin coloring?


A beauty contestant could be eliminated for biting her nails. The care a contestant gives her nails is very important to winning a pageant. Your hands should always be well groomed.


You can protect your hands with gloves whenever you do work that will roughen your hands. Be sure you put on your protective lotions first.


Leg care:


The best way to remove hair from large areas is by shaving with a razor, safety or electric. You may try using a chemical depilatory, but give yourself a skin test first. Use it on a hairless part of the arm, leaving it on for about seven minutes.

To have beautiful hair it must first be clean. Only you know how many times a week you should shampoo your hair. If your hair is oily, you need to shampoo your hair more than the person that has normal hair. If you have oily hair the answer is clean, clean, clean.


Our customs and traditions may seem outdated to many of us, but it is encouraging to know that something is being done so that anyone can learn social graces, charm and etiquette by simply opening a book and reading, or taking a few classes.
