Marilu graduated from the E. Lane Ballard School of Charm and Etiquette in Washington, D. C., the Patricia Stephens Modeling School in San Antonio, Texas and the Ben Shaw School of Charm, Etiquette and Modeling in San Antonio, Texas. For the past 40 years Marilu has owned and operated charm and etiquette schools, receiving recognition for her innovative and effective teaching methods as well as her dynamic musical fashion shows. Marilu graduated the first male model in the state of Ohio and also gave the first musical fashion show there.
