Biography:
David D. Hopkins was born in 1970 and has followed various callings--soldier, stockbroker, hotel supervisor, office manager, and teacher. He published his graduate thesis, “Dionysus: the Re-emergence of a God from Greek Mythology in Modern Literature,” in 1999 through California State University-Dominguez Hills. He was conferred a Ph.D. Humanities from Warnborough University in Oxford, England in 2001. He is currently a Professor of English at Hamilton College in Cedar Falls, Iowa. He teaches introductory and advanced writing courses, as well as literature and communications courses to undergraduate students. He resides in Reinbeck, Iowa with his wife and two children.
