Biography:
Rajeev "HAWAH" Kasat was born in the U.S., but spent a portion of childhood in India. Early exposure to the unindustrialized world sparked a commitment in HAWAH to empower the less materially fortunate. While in college, he completed one year of service with AmeriCorps in Washington, DC. After graduating from American University, with a degree in Peace and Educational Philosophy, he spent the next 3 years as Director of a Peace Program in a large public high school; later he was awarded a fellowship with the RFK Memorial Foundation to work on the U.N. World Conference Against Racism and Discrimination. HAWAH currently is the executive director of One Common Unity; Trails is first of his three books.
