Dr. Linda Sivils is a retired Fashion Merchandising and Retail Studies faculty member from Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, Louisiana. Dr. Sivils' educational background includes: B.S., Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, Louisiana; M.S., University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Tennessee; Ph.D., Texas Woman’s University, Denton, Texas.
Linda has extensive background in teaching, in development and supervision of internship and cooperative education programs, in travel study programs, and in museum curation, exhibition and management.
Eleven years of research has resulted in a chronological and pictorial history of the peach festival and pageant.
