Joyce H. Williams and Nancy West lived in Africa five years. While there, Williams taught in a community school and West attended the University of Ibadan in Nigeria, a student of African drama. Both Williams and West are native Tennesseans. Williams now lives in Alabama where she has taught at Shoals Community College, Faulkner University and the University of North Alabama. West lives in Florida, where she earned a Master’s from Nova University. She is an Elementary Specialist at Discovery School in Brevard County.
