This is the author’s first fictional endeavor. As a practicing attorney, he had, over the years, prepared many trials and appellate briefs designed to be persuasive on a variety of factual and legal issues. Thereafter, as a Federal Administrative Law Judge, he formulated detailed decisions, again requiring close attention to composition and substance. He believes these characteristics are called prominently into play when structuring fictional materials. The four novellas which comprise A SLIGHT TOUCH OF TERROR were written primarily for the enjoyment of his grandchildren. It is hoped that other youthful readers will also find pleasure in perusing these stories.
