In over two decades of experience in the medical device
industry, Mr. Mager has held responsible positions within
medical device manufacturing companies ranging from
start-up entrepreneurial ventures to multisite, highly
matrixed corporate organizations. He has held executive
management responsibilities in both quality management
and operations management roles and is experienced in
interrelated quality disciplines, such as quality systems,
management control, CAPA, supplier control and
management, risk management, quality assurance/control,
lean manufacturing, product development engineering, and
results-oriented management for continuous improvement.
He is experienced at quality system remediation strategy
and tactical execution. Mr. Mager also holds design patents
pertaining directly to minimally invasive and “beating
heart” cardiovascular products currently being marketed.
Mr. Mager holds a bachelors of science in mechanical
engineering from the University of Wisconsin, Parkside.
