Patricia is passionately interested in the healing ministries. Early and mid-life circumstances led to considerable reading, therapy, and study about sexual trauma, dreams, dissociative disorders, the Gestalt method of processing body memories, and spiritual healing. While a high school mathematics teacher she served on the school’s first crisis intervention team, trained by the State of PA. She has received Pennsylvania Coalition Against Domestic Violence training, and volunteers at a local women’s shelter. A recent two-year course in Gestalt Pastoral Care Ministry further pushed her to reach out to those who, like her, have found healing from long-buried transgressions difficult.
