Joyce Putnam Eblen has managed to overcome her middle class upbringing and Ivy League style education to find the humor in everyday life. From her first job washing an elephant for a traveling circus to her retirement from teaching Latin, her life has been anything but boring. Joyce continues a career of speaking and writing from her home in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She is married to Milton and they have two grown children.
