Dick Weaver is an ordained minister in the United Church of Christ. He’s also been a massage therapist. An experienced bow hunter, Weaver has hunted the woods and fields he writes about in Rubbed the Wrong Way. As a Christian minister, he has studied the human penchant for violence. Weaver has written short stories and articles in “Muzzleloader Magazine”, “Primitive Archer,” and “Muzzle Blasts”, and enjoys traditional archery almost as much as he enjoys building and shooting flintlock firearms. Broadly traveled, he’s lived in Kansas, Nebraska, Minnesota, and Washington, and currently lives in Montana with his spouse, Reverend Cathy Barker.
