Biography:
Born in Chicago, Illinois, Dr. Joel Brumlik received his M.D. and Ph.D. degrees from Northwestern University. He practiced Neurology in the area and taught the subject at Northwestern until 1970. For eighteen years he was Professor of Neurology and Chairman of the Department of Neurology at Loyola University Medical Center. He is widely published in the scientific world. After he retired in 1988 he worked with his wife, Stephanie A. Brumlik, on her efforts to combat Holocaust denial. He was able to support and expedite her efforts. She died in Israel in 1996, at the age of forty-two.
