Sev Tabios, an LL.B. and MBA degree holder, is a member of the New York and Philippine bars. Having retired from the practice of law, where he specialized in corporation law and taxation as a private practitioner, bank lawyer and law school professor, he now devotes time to writing. He has written four and co-authored three Philippine lawbooks. A former newspaper man, he wrote a column on taxes but his observations as a lawyer, banker and social scientist have motivated him to write Days of the Whirlwind, his first work of fiction. He is now a businessman in California.
