Juanita D. Price, formerly a battered wife, has amassed thirty-odd years of experience teaching women -- especially battered women. She has plied her craft with both private clients and in women's shelters such as CHOICES (in Columbus, Ohio) and "New Beginnings" (in Newark, Ohio). She graduated with honors from Columbus Technical Institute (now, Columbus State Community College), and followed that with a B. A. degree in Human Behavior and Counseling from Capital University. She has presented workshops at the local, state, national, and international levels.
