Good food and sensible health habits were part of my life from early on. Life experiences brought unusual contacts that contributed to my wellness. Reading was an important part of my life. As a teacher I helped many children overcome their reading problems and learn to love books. After my years as a caregiver for my elderly parents, I wrote the book A Matter of Growth in which I recorded my thoughts and experiences. Retirement brought new challenges and the awareness of new responsibilities, among them the sharing of what I have learned about health of body,mind and spirit.
