Biography:
With her husband, Ralph and three children, missionary Peggy Albrecht began serving the first of four terms of service in West Africa. The first term was spent in a Liberian jungle camp. The last three in Sierra Leone: Freetown, Mattru Jong and Sherbro Island. In each location her home became a gathering place for young African people whose courage inspired her to write Tales of West Africa. Peggy’s writing credits include four novels for young readers published by Christian Literature Crusade, one young adult novel published by Tabby House, and over 100 articles and short stories published in various periodicals. Tales of West Africa are works of fiction -- products of the author’s imagination. The actual settings are also used fictitiously.
