Dr. Rix Tillman is past president of his denomination’s state Pastor’s Conference (2004-2005) and has authored three books to date. He served as Senior Pastor of El Paso’s Exciting Immanuel Church from 1994-2009 and served as associate pastor in churches in New Mexico and Texas beginning in 1978. He is twice past facilitator of the inter-denominational El Paso Pastors for Jesus. Prior to serving as a pastor, he was a high school band director and coach for 11 years. In 2008, he was honored as Outstanding Community Honoree for work in reaching out to people of all races and ethnicities.
