Tim D. Boyle was born June 6, 1953 in Sandpoint, Idaho. Tim was the second of 5 children born to John and Virginia Boyle. Although not a native Oregonian, Tim has lived in the Portland, Oregon area for the past forty three years. Tim lives with his wife and his dog. Tim attended Portland Community College and is a historian specializing in Asian Pacific events in World War II. In addition to his literary pursuits, Tim has restored old automobiles to new condition. He is currently between cars which has given him the time to write this book.
