Biography:
Robert Lockwood Mills spent most of his adult life raising a family and working as a Wall Street broker. But his eclectic mix of hobbies and avocations has included those of semi-pro ballplayer, actor, playwright, bridge teacher, historical researcher, writer/editor, satirist, composer, crossword puzzle constructor, and political essayist. Two of these disciplines converge in Baseball---Then and Now, the author’s sixth published book. It’s his first about baseball, and it was written without the use of a single reference source. Mr. Mills, a widower with three grown daughters and four grandchildren, lives in semi-retirement in Sun City Center, Florida.
