The author is a disabled (hence, nonpracticing) (former) psychiatrist-in-training, who has been afflicted with severe obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), attention deficit disorder (ADD) with hyperactivity and learning disabilities (including gadgetaphobia with computer illiteracy and mundane-informational phobia) since childhood. However, he hopes he is able to accurately forecast a collective future (one for all of us) that will be far more wonderful than anything the world has seen so far. If he lives long enough to be cured by brain stimulation, etc., Lewis S. Mancini intends to complete his residency in behavioral science and become a full-fledged psychiatrist.
