Biography:
John Wydra spent nearly his entire career in broadcasting, primarily as an anchorperson with WCBS in New York City and previously with WCAU and KYW Newsradio and TV in Philadelphia. He also reported from the Middle East, from urban riots in the 1960’s and from political campaigns and national conventions. In 1986, John took a leave-of-absence from CBS to run for public office, winning the Democratic primary in the 13th U.S. Congressional District in New Jersey, but losing in the general election. John has drawn heavily from his myriad experiences in writing his first book: What Hath Bush Wrought?
