Kim Jurczyk was born on September 23, 1993 and is currently a freshman at Hampton Roads Academy in Newport News, Virginia. She runs cross-country and plays Basketball for her school and also plays flute and piccolo in Flute Frenzy, a Williamsburg based flute ensemble. Kim lives with her mom, dad, younger sister, and an adorable dog named Gracie. Call of the Phoenix is her first book (so far).
