Jon Pahl is Professor of the History of Christianity in North America at The Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia, and has been Visiting Professor of Religion at Temple University and at Princeton University. Jon is also the author of five other books, including most recently Shopping Malls and Other Sacred Spaces and Blessed Brutalities: The Religious Origins of American Violence. His father, Fred Pahl, was a good friend of Loretta Coller’s.
