Justin S. Niati was educated in Africa and in the United States. He earned a doctoral degree in Foreign Languages (French) from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Prior to that, he taught journalism at the university level in Zaïre (now DRC) and Kenya. He currently teaches French at Houghton College in New York. Justin focuses his research on Human Rights in the 18th Century French literature. He also has a deep interest in African oral traditions. “Voltaire confronts the journalists” and “The Man who ate his wife’s placenta” are among his publications.
