Biography:
I am mother and grandmother, and proud of both titles. I have lived most of my life in Mobile, Alabama. I moved to Nashville in 1987. My friend Grant Tuner got me a job at Opry Land Park. I also worked out at Bill Monroe’s farm. His daughter, Melissa, moved in with him in 1990. He hired me to care for her. I moved out to the farm; then, after Melissa passed, James had me stay on to help Bill. I was his driver and took care of the animals. I also worked on ceramic items to be sold in his museum in Bean Blossom.
