Members of the Green Street Writers Group, these two poets left careers in human resources and mental health to devote time to words. Mary Ellen is working on a book set in Istanbul about her reunion with a long lost Turkish friend; Robin is finishing a novel about 9/11. While both reside in Syracuse, NY, Robin summers in the woods near Truxton and Mary Ellen retreats to Little Wolf Pond in the Adirondacks. Mary Ellen has raised two daughters, enjoys four grandchildren and Sally, her Newfoundland. Robin is happily married with adult children, a grandchild and her dog, Rupert.
