Dennis McLelland, Ed.D., is a retired high school Guidance Counselor, who lives with his wife in Huntersville, North Carolina. Dr. McLelland has published several articles about the old west in magazines such as American History and the Western Outlaw Lawman Association. He has also published many articles in the field of Education. His first foray into the writing of old west articles began with an article about John “Liver-Eating” Johnston which he wrote for a New Jersey newspaper. His plans for the future include authoring Christian books and enjoying the glorious freedom of retired life.
