In his three tales Trench brings disparate characters to illuminate the human scene. Each story is introduced by poems selected from his two poetry books; FACES OF LOVE and PHILOSOPHIC CONSIDERATIONS UNDER CONSIDERATION. He was born in England, reared in Pittsburgh, served in the Army and merchant marine. Coupling this with his varied employment history it enabled him to witness the flood gates of the heart from wounded and flawed mankind. He currently lives in the mountains of Northeast Georgia peacefully pondering:
