When he isn’t playing ‘amateur historian’ through genealogy, Michael E. Schick just makes up all sorts of stuff under the guise of Mishka Zakharin—(yes, fine, there you go—if Spider-man can lose his secret identity, well, then what the hey…)—shading the events of his life in poetry and prose (and pedantics…?) as well as his ongoing series of journalish ramblings, all in an attempt to make it seem as if there might really be anything at all going on…he is also currently working on an English translation of a French biography of the Russian monk Rasputin—which, at the time of this writing, he does not know if he will finish, due to the annoying obstacle of knowing no French whatsoever…(J’ai un joli bouquet de noix de coco!
