Betty Friend grew up in Tampa, Florida. She has always been interested in the spiritual aspects of life and in seeking out truth.

Betty received a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Florida State University and Masters of Arts in Elementary Education and Community Counseling from the University of Tennessee. She spent a number of years in teaching and as a counselor in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She has three children and two grandchildren and lives in the Chattanooga area.

This book has evolved from years of delving into the common thread that runs through all religions, participating in group studies, and meditation. It is a collection of journaled inspirations.
